Merch Party: The Best Band Merch Near You This Week
BYT at large | Nov 7, 2017 | 9:00AM |

Welcome back to another edition of MERCH PARTY – a weekly round-up of all the best band merch comin’ to a venue near you, ’cause supporting your favorite artists in more ways than one is just part of bein’ a good fan! Let’s get into what’s good RIGHT NOW:

November 8th

Tegan & Sara @ Kings Theatre

Tegan & Sara will be gracing our fair cities with their presence this week – NYC comes first on Wednesday at BK’s Kings Theatre, and DC’s got its turn on Saturday at The Anthem. Whether or not you make it out to one of the gigs, please consider buying this pair of socks, which I cannot stop laughing at in like, a good way:

November 9th

BOYTOY @ Alphaville

BOYTOY will take the stage alongside Michael Rault on Thursday at Alphaville, and so it seemed like this was an ideal time to tell you that Glen makes BOYTOY-brand surf wax, which is p. tight! I can’t say this is the most temperate time of year to paddle out if you’re on the upper-East Coast, but if you’re an avid surfer, you should still grab a $5 tin to use at your leisure.

Joyce Manor @ Brooklyn Steel

Joyce Manor will be at ye olde Brooklyn Steel on Thursday // I am pretty obsessed with all the available merch, and would gladly sport any of it, but I am especially into the idea of wearing this crewneck all winter long:

November 10th

Mipso @ Bowery Ballroom

Mipso will be at Bowery Ballroom this Friday AND in DC this Sunday the 12th, but in addition to the shows, let’s talk about how it’s motherfucking tea season, and if you want to look real chill while you’re sipping it, you’d better make sure to kit yourself out with this dope campfire mug, which is available online:

November 12th

Slowdive @ Terminal 5

Slowdive will roll through NYC this Sunday, and will make a stop in Baltimore at Ram’s Head next week on the 16th. But while we’re on the subject of rad mugs, here’s one with a color scheme suitable for people like me, who are mostly dead inside, even while drinking warm beverages! Grab one online:

Cherry Glazerr @ Terminal 5

Cherry Glazerr will be supporting Slowdive on Sunday in NYC and on the 16th in Baltimore, which should be PRETTY TIGHT! But if we’re talking merch specifically, while the entire online store experience is v. strong, you should know by now that I love any/all dad hats, this Apocalipstick one being no exception, and I would highly recommend ordering:
