Welcome back to another edition of MERCH PARTY – a weekly round-up of all the best band merch comin’ to a venue near you, ’cause supporting your favorite artists in more ways than one is just part of bein’ a good fan! Let’s get into what’s good RIGHT NOW:
EZTV @ Park Church Co-op
EZTV’s show (with Beverly and RIPS) promises to be PRETTY DOPE, so it’s just an added bonus that the band’s got some v. solid merch going on; we’re big fans of this pennant (just $2!), which is a very adorable way to show your support for their tunes. Check out the full online store here!
Joseph @ 9:30 Club
I am very obsessed with all of Joseph’s merch, which is great news if you’re in DC or NYC this week as they’re at 9:30 on the 13th, and will be at Music Hall of Williamsburg on the 15th (AND will be at Chicago’s Thalia Hall on the 22nd); not sure if all items will be available on the road, but there’s always the super handy online store that can be perused at your convenience! I would buy all of it, but I especially like this v. strong $10 mug:
A Place Both Wonderful & Strange @ Bowery Electric
A Place Both Wonderful & Strange will be at Bowery Electric for just $5 this week, but you should also considering shelling out an additional $5 for the band’s limited edition David Lynch Presents Food Court poster, because it is a goddamn work of art that belongs in your home.
September 15th + 16th
Har Mar Superstar @ Brooklyn Steel
Har Mar Superstar will be supporting Afghan Whigs two nights in a row at Brooklyn Steel (and two nights in a row in Chicago on the 22nd and 23rd at Metro), and I would like to strongly suggest grabbing one of these “Personal Boix” shirts if you can, either in-person or online, because there is not a single piece of merch on the planet that is stronger at this moment in time:
